This is a song that i wrote over winter break of 2017. This is only the demo, we hope to record our lp or ep during july of 2017. We intend to speed the song up a little so it is not nearly as long.
I didnt spend too much time thinking about the lyrics when i wrote them i just kind of sang what was on my mind. The song is mainly about how i chose my direction in life based on what i thought would be easy and what others would like to see me do. I wrote this song around the time i was realising i did not want to continue that direction. I ultimatley decided to come home to persue my passion in music and record this song which i hope to see on the ep or lp we are going to release soon.
lyrics
Tell me something that I want to hear
"why do you lay there, Is that all you do"?
Isnt that beautiful
isnt that sweet
but is it really what i wanted to see
isnt that beautiful
isnt that sweet
but is it really what i wanted to see
maybe i fell for the trap
or did i just take the clearest path
and i wonder where these weights came pound for pound
crushing my shoulders they are dragging me down
just leave me hear alone
so i can think through it on my own
i really need to decide
before all my answers collide
isnt that beautiful
isnt that sweet
but is it really what i wanted to see
isnt that beautiful
isnt that sweet
but is it really what i wanted to see
